Your exact chosen weight — 500g, 1kg or 5kg — of jumbo Ajwa dates from Madinah, vacuum-sealed inside a rigid box so nothing gets crushed in transit. In summer months we add an inner liner because soft dates and courier vans don’t always get along. A 1kg pack works out to roughly 55–65 large dates.
One thing worth knowing before you buy: real Ajwa has fine white lines running across a soft, matte, dryish skin. If a date is shiny, jet black and sticky-sweet, it’s usually a cheaper variety being passed off as Ajwa — often at a suspiciously low price in India. Why does the ajwa khajoor 1kg price vary between sellers?
Grade, season and honesty. Jumbo grade costs more than mixed-size lots, and genuine Madinah stock costs more than lookalike dates. If a price looks too good, check the skin for those white lines.
Are these with seeds or seedless?
With seed, the traditional way. Some customers save the seeds to dry and grind — Ajwa seed powder is a common home preparation, though we sell the whole fruit only.
Do they need refrigeration?
Sealed packs sit happily in a cool cupboard. Once opened, move them to the fridge — especially between June and September.
Can I order online for delivery anywhere in India?
